manchester, liverpool - the derby

In Manchester for the derby. On the first night we went to eat at Chinatown, but I didn't take any pictures. Then went to Kep's place to stay for the night.
Second morning, woke up for brunch with Kep at Giraffe, and then later went to Liverpool to take a walk. Train takes an hour between cities.

Entered an art gallery.. just to take a look.

Funny that this piece needs a cover

Back in Manchester, walked through their Christmas market.

The only food around was German, so I ate a Schnitzel with potatoes.

Derby day! Went to Etihad to collect the membership card and tickets.

Guess who went for the derby as well?
Ethan Hunt? No, it's Mr Cruise.

Kick off

Sadly the game ended 3-2, with United's win. How I wished City won so I could celebrate with the Poznan.

Later at night, we went to a Christmas gathering at someone's house, with all the Manchester students.

It's always nice to meet Singaporeans. Being able to speak normally and candidly without fear of cultural faux pas is something we take for granted.
